The Pointe Church is a life-giving church located in the heart of Cocoa Beach, Florida. Our desire is simple: to help people encounter Jesus and experience real life change.
We believe church should be a place where everyone feels welcome—whether you’ve followed Jesus for years or you’re just beginning to explore faith. At The Pointe, you’ll find authentic community, powerful worship, and practical teaching that helps you grow in your relationship with God.
Our vision is reaching, loving, and connecting.
Our mission is to reach people where they are and connect them to Christ through love.
Every week people from all walks of life gather at The Pointe Church to worship, learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships. We are passionate about seeing lives changed, families strengthened, and our community impacted with the love of Jesus.

MEET THE PASTORS
Derek & April Howell
Lead Pastors
Derek and April Howell are the founding and lead pastors of The Pointe Church. They planted the church with a passion to reach people who may feel disconnected from church and help them experience the love and truth of Jesus.
Derek focuses primarily on ministries, teaching, and worship, while April leads culture, outreach, and community connections. Together they are passionate about building a church that loves people well, teaches the Bible clearly, and helps individuals and families grow in their faith.
Derek and April love Cocoa Beach and are deeply committed to serving the local community and seeing lives transformed through the gospel.

The purpose of The Pointe Church is to share the hope of Jesus. Jesus is our message. Methods may come and go yet our message will remain the same.
OUR HEART IS PEOPLE
Our heart is for everyone. We make no apologies for being specifically focused on reaching those far away from God. We desire to connect the broken to Christ at all costs.
OUR VISION IS REACHING, LOVING, AND CONNECTING

Our purpose is to serve our community, no strings attached. We are spiritual contributors, not spiritual consumers. We will love our community and expect nothing in return
