Questions

Good to know

Do I need ministry experience to start?

No. Year One starts with the foundations. Bring a hunger to grow and a willingness to serve, and we'll train you from there.

What does a week look like?

The School of Ministry meets Saturday mornings from 9 to noon. Each module includes reading and a hands-on ministry project, so you're learning and doing at the same time.

Can I do one year, or do I have to commit to three?

Start with one. Year One is complete on its own and makes you eligible to become a Certified Minister. Years Two and Three are there when you're ready to go further.

What's the difference between the School of Ministry and SEU?

The School of Ministry is church-based, in-person training that leads to ministry credentials. SEU at The Pointe leads to a fully accredited university degree, from a bachelor's to a doctorate.
